Type Locality and Naming
Includes in East Pshart. It is distinguished in 1967 by V.I. Dronev, recently studied by I.A. Gusev (1972).
Synonym: Kyzylaygyn suite, Кызылайгынская Свита

Lithology and Thickness
It is represented by red sandstones with beds and layers of green and gray sandstones, gravelites, and conglomerates, rarely gypsum. Thickness 100-300 m.

Conformably overlying on Tashkalyak Fm
Regional extent
It is widespread in the Central Pamir in the basins of the Western and Eastern Pshart rivers, Buguchidzhilga, and others.
